Berwyn

Berwyn Hi Santa,

It's me again your friend Berwyn - remember me? I came to the rescue after someone turned me into the Humane Society.

I'm shelter Mom's biggest helper and she says I'm a real little gentleman. I help take care of the new kids and because I get along with everyone and I look out for Pez because his best friend Jynx had to go to the Bridge. Since I have such good manners I go with shelter Mom on a lot of our public education events - I even did a radio interview this year for our Business Pawty event (Mom did most of the talking but everyone wanted to meet me!).

Santa sometimes my little buddy, Pez, has accidents so all the stuff in our cage gets washed A LOT - it is getting sort of sad looking. If you could bring some new floor covers or blankets for us that would be really nice or maybe some ferretone? I love ferretone!

Merry Christmas Santa,

Love,

Berwyn

Like most shelters every penny counts and every gift is put to good use. Gift cards to help with the purchase of cleaning supplies, litter, puppy pads and food are always welcome. Much of our bedding especially our tray and shelf covers are showing signs of age, wear and too many little accidents so they would be particularly treasured items. While we encourage the ferrets to share with each other while they are here every gift made to a specific ferret is carefully noted so when that ferret finds his / her forever home they can leave with not only the necessities to see them through a transition to a new home but with their own treasured possessions to remind them that they are loved and cherished.
