Dante

Dante Dear Santa,

Hello my name is Dante. My brother Rudi and I were dumped at pet store (our people just put us in a box and left us in the aisle at the store). The people at the store tried to help us but I was very sick so they found some nice people to do a transport train to get us close enough to Shelter Mommy for her to come get us.

Rudi liked Shelter Mom right away - he kept giving her kisses all the time but I was too sick for kisses; I was four weeks in quarantine until the doctor said I could come out and then Rudi and I stayed in Shelter Mommy's room because she was still feeding me by syringe every four hours because I was not eating bt myself.

Finally I started eating my soup from a bowl and then when no one was looking I stole some of Rudi's kibbles and then Shelter Mommy caught me eating kibbles and gave me lots of kisses and I kissed her back just like Rudi and she kissed me some more and made me soup. Now I know why Rudi kisses her all the time - she is very well trained - give her a kiss and she makes soup! Rudi is getting fat because he kisses so much and now I am putting on some weight too!

I'm feeling so much better now that Mom can hardly get me to stay still to take a picture but I'm afraid of getting sick again so I sure would like if we had some extra Carnivore Care and Dr. Mercola's for my soups and and maybe a ball to chase - I like chasing things!

Love,

Dante

Like most shelters every penny counts and every gift is put to good use. Gift cards to help with the purchase of cleaning supplies, litter, puppy pads and food are always welcome. Much of our bedding especially our tray and shelf covers are showing signs of age, wear and too many little accidents so they would be particularly treasured items. While we encourage the ferrets to share with each other while they are here every gift made to a specific ferret is carefully noted so when that ferret finds his / her forever home they can leave with not only the necessities to see them through a transition to a new home but with their own treasured possessions to remind them that they are loved and cherished.
