Wasabi Hey there Santa!

I hope I get this right - this is going to be my first Christmas so all of this is new for me! Sorry about the silly picture - shelter Mom says that was the only way to keep me still for a second so I'm sitting in the sink - I sure am glad she did not try to give me one of those baths.

I came to live her with my sister Ginger - we do everything together - we run, we jump, Mom says I almost fly I am so fast. There is just nothing quiet or boring about me - life is too short to let it be dull!

The other ferrets are telling me I'm supposed to tell you what I want for Christmas but no one has ever brought stuff for me and Ginger so I'm not sure how that works - I have never had a present ever, ever so I'm sure I would be pretty excited whatever you bring! If it comes in a box or a plastic bag I will be really EXCITED!!!! If the bag had some crocheted toys or balls that would be super cool and maybe a sleep sack to stash them in so the other ferret don't steal them!

Oh heck Santa even if you just sent a bag or a box I would be excited - I can make anything fun and exciting - I'm so good at it I even make Shelter Mom giggle even when she is angry with me..... if you are cute and funny you get away with a lot - it is all about the ATTITUDE!

Bye for now Santa - I have to go play - Ginger is calling me - she gets lonely without me!

Dook, Dook,

Please Send Gifts to:
Ferret Rescue Society of Ottawa
Like most shelters every penny counts and every gift is put to good use. Gift cards to help with the purchase of cleaning supplies, litter, puppy pads and food are always welcome. Much of our bedding especially our tray and shelf covers are showing signs of age, wear and too many little accidents so they would be particularly treasured items. While we encourage the ferrets to share with each other while they are here every gift made to a specific ferret is carefully noted so when that ferret finds his / her forever home they can leave with not only the necessities to see them through a transition to a new home but with their own treasured possessions to remind them that they are loved and cherished.
