Sometimes when a ferret comes into a pet store biting or is returned by a customer for biting that store has the option to surrender that ferret to a shelter. That’s how we came to know Sophia. She is a long-time resident of more than six years, but it has been probably two or three since she has bitten anyone. She does not like change and if you keep her in a routine she is just fine. She is adrenal, as you can probably tell by her nakedness, but she’s still full of spunk and loves climbing on cat furniture. Unfortunately, our furniture was several years old and becoming unsafe, so it had to be disposed of. She also loves toys that make noise, so she can shake the life out of them.
We here at the shelter would also appreciate disposable under pads for our cages (23x36) and gift cards to Walmart for ferret soup, tractor supply for litter or Amazon for medical supplies. Also, if you would like to donate to our paypal our e-mail address is email@example.com
