Yuki

Yuki Hi, I’m Yuki. I had quite a rough few years before coming to the sanctuary. I lived in a very small cage with my brother. Our cage rarely got cleaned, so we were living quite literally with our poop. My brother passed away before he could come to the sanctuary. He was accidentally let outside and was sadly hit by a car. I really miss him, but he would want me to have all of the friends that I possibly could. I’m thankful for all of the friends that I have made at the sanctuary. They have all really helped me grieve the loss of my brother. Anyways, enough of the sad stuff.
I’m a middle-aged boy who had lots of luscious fur back in the day, but it’s thinning quite a bit these days. Mumma said that my implant could give my fur a chance to grow back, but it’s not looking so hot for me in the fur department. It’s okay, Mumma says I can be one of her special naked babies! Mumma can normally find me in my special swinging hammock, at the soupie bowl, or on her bed! She’s got the softest fuzziest blankets on her bed, and they feel sooooo good on my naked skin!
I love all warm fuzzy blankets, but those ultra soft blankets are by far my all time favorite! I also love shakey eggs, stashing toys, and extra large hammocks that me and a bunch of my friends can all sleep in together! Mumma thinks I’m funny when it comes to me eating habits… I like to pick out specific pieces of food and dip them into the water bowl before eating them. At least I’m nice and hydrated!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from me and all of my much fuzzier friends! Thank you so much!

We are a self funded private rescue/sanctuary in New Hampshire. Our current residents come from all over New England. Some came to us sick and old, and others healthy in large groups. We make sure to never separate bonded groups who come in so no one looses who they love.
We go through supplies rapidly with the number of noodles in our care, and finances are always tight. Thank you so much for anything and everything, we couldn’t keep this going without the love and support we get during this time of year from the ferret community. There are about 20 ferrets here that this very well might be their last Christmas, so we make sure everyone gets to play with and enjoy the gifts that are received!

We are always in need of the following…
*FOOD! - Marshalls, Wysong Ferret Epigen 90 DS, Instinct Ultimate Protein Chicken or Duck, Dr. Elsey’s Clean Protein Chicken, Oxbow Ferret Food, Mazuri Ferret Food, Intune, Totally Ferret Active and Show
