Hi guys, I’m Leah. I came to the sanctuary with my brothers Tank and Rocky about 6 months ago. I’m one of the oldest ladies here at the sanctuary. I’m 10, almost 11, and I’m still going strong. I might have Insulinoma and a small tumor on the top of my toe, but that doesn’t slow me down at all! Mumma said the vet can’t do anything about my toe tumor because I’m too old, but I’d rather the vet leave my toe alone anyways! That’s my toe! My original owner surrendered the 3 of us to the sanctuary because she wanted someone who knew more about us to be able to care of our health and needs as we got older. My brother Tank who is 5, has Insulinoma as well. Rocky is still going strong! He’s the crazy one of the group!
These are a few of my favorite things…..! I absolutely LOVE eating! Mumma said it’s good for me to love eating because of my insulinoma. I love the kibbles, the soups, the Stella & Chewys, the Beechnut meat baby foods, wysong Epigen canned chicken and duck formulas… I love all of the foods. I also really like shakey eggs, and big snuggly beds! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from little ole’ me and all of my fuzzy noodle friends! Thank you so much! We are a self funded private rescue/sanctuary in New Hampshire. Our current residents come from all over New England. Some came to us sick and old, and others healthy in large groups. We make sure to never separate bonded groups who come in so no one looses who they love. We go through supplies rapidly with the number of noodles in our care, and finances are always tight. Thank you so much for anything and everything, we couldn’t keep this going without the love and support we get during this time of year from the ferret community. There are about 20 ferrets here that this very well might be their last Christmas, so we make sure everyone gets to play with and enjoy the gifts that are received!
