Kahula

Kahula Hi guys, I’m Kahula, but everyone just calls me Hula or Hula girl. I came to the sanctuary a long time ago with my brother, Kana. Kana recently crossed the rainbow bridge, and that was really hard for me. I know I will see him again one day, and he will be waiting for me at the bridge… but in the mean time, I really do love life here at the sanctuary with all of my friends. Even though I get snuggles all the time, I have learned a way teach Mumma how to give me snuggles whenever and wherever I want! It’s called the ‘sad-sploot.’ Big ole’ dough eyes, and laying in the middle of the floor where no one else is. I give you, the ‘sad-sploot.’ Wins Mumma over 100% of the time! It’s weird though, because she thinks I’ve developed what the other noodles have, and she tests my blood sometimes, but it doesn’t matter to me if I’m still getting the snuggles 24/7! I even sleep with Mumma on the big bed on her head. It’s nice and warm there!
Some of my favorite things include… food of all kinds, whether its kibbles, Stella & Chewy’s freeze dried raw (especially duck and chicken), Beechnut meat baby food, and salmon oil! I also really love boxes and buckets of all kinds to play and sleep in, hammocks, pillowcases and blankets!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from me and all of my fuzzy noodle friends! Thank you so much!

We are a self funded private rescue/sanctuary in New Hampshire. Our current residents come from all over New England. Some came to us sick and old, and others healthy in large groups. We make sure to never separate bonded groups who come in so no one looses who they love.
We go through supplies rapidly with the number of noodles in our care, and finances are always tight. Thank you so much for anything and everything, we couldn’t keep this going without the love and support we get during this time of year from the ferret community. There are about 20 ferrets here that this very well might be their last Christmas, so we make sure everyone gets to play with and enjoy the gifts that are received!

We are always in need of the following…
*FOOD! - Marshalls, Wysong Ferret Epigen 90 DS, Instinct Ultimate Protein Chicken or Duck, Dr. Elsey’s Clean Protein Chicken, Oxbow Ferret Food, Mazuri Ferret Food, Intune, Totally Ferret Active and Show
