I have been at the shelter since 2014 when I came in with my buddies, Eric and Lydia. Eric suddenly left for the bridge about four months later, and Lydia joined him few months ago, so I am now a single ferret. I have lost control of my body functions so I use a lot of cage diapers, and keep Shelter Mommy very busy. I had a huge cyst on my head which the vet removed about two months ago, and I also received an implant for adrenal issues. I now look and feel a lot better despite being 6 1/2 years old! I still like to run through the tubes, and make lots of noise though. I eat a mix of Zupreem and Sheppard and Greene Ferret food, and I love to sleep in the barrel bed I have. There are other kinds of beds in my cage, but I don't really use those very much.
Shelter Mommy can always use a gift certificate to Walmart for the cleaning supplies that she needs to take care of us or Lowe’s for wood pellet litter.
Gifts can be sent directly to Little Rascals Ferret Rescue at 451 Park Avenue, Harleysville, PA 19438 and donations toward my veterinary bills can be sent to our Ferret Rescue Account, Client ID #17806, at Harleysville Veterinary Hospital, 391 Main Street, Harleysville, PA 19438.
Thank you for reading my story; I would love whatever you might decide to give me!
