Hello, I'm Herb. I'm approximately 7 years old and a Silver. Someone found me in a beer box on a walking trail in 100 degree heat! Thank goodness she found Lane Area Ferret Shelter and Rescue! They asked a friend to pick up me and my friend, Peaches. Peaches had a tumor on her chest that went through her chest and around her heart. The vet thought it would be kindest to euthanize her. I'd have to agree! If I can't live life to the fullest, why live at all? Well, now I'm living with Daisy and we both love life! Even though we are a little older, we still love to play, so so any toys like cat teasers/fishing poles, crocheted eggs, balls that make sounds, etc. would be most welcome!
