Pearl

Pearl Pearl and her bonded mate, Manny arrived at the rescue back in April when their owner couldn't afford their care any longer. They went to a foster mom and she says Pearl helped Manny get through his depression. Well, Pearl lost Manny a few months back and has grieved his loss very deeply, as did foster mom. She is doing ok now and sleeps in bed with her foster mom, under the blanket. She is adrenal and was diagnosed with insulinoma but due to her foster's careful diligence, she is currently maintaining her bg without preds. She loves Pickle Juice on her little tummy, squeaky toys, tubes, and stealing shoes. Donations towards her implants at our vet are welcome, or I bet she would dig some new squeakies or a stash of Pickle juice. Santa, would you please mark Pearl's name on any packages sent to the rescue for her? That helps shelter mom get the prezzys to the right ferret. Thank you <3 The pic is a current pic of Pearl at the top and below is a pic of her with her beloved Manny when they first arrived at foster mom's home.

Millie Sanders has been running this rescue for 23 years and currently it's the only ferret rescue left in operation in Texas.
