Aurora This is Aurora, a lovely dark eyed white with a bit of a biting problem also. Her and Betsy have apparently bonded over biting humans and their shared hobby made them great friends. Aurora prefers to grab, shake and hold on, whereas her friend Betsy is more of a strike fast and run like heck ferret. Aurora come in with Blizard, when their owner was moving and he could no longer keep them. Aurora had worn out her welcome with her owners mom, as she liked to bite mom too so there was no chance of leaving them with his parents when he had to move. Very loved ferrets, they had plenty of love but not a lot of other items. A couple of very dirty hammys in their cage along with pine shavings and inexpensive ferret food rounded out their belongings.
Surprisingly their old owner did call and check on them a couple of times, even dropping by twice to check on them and play with them for a while, which happens so rarely. They were honestly truly loved and he did the best he could with them, but between the biting issues, money issues, and moving it was a very sad day when he had to give them up to the shelter.
Aurora will sleep in blankets, hammy's and round doughnut beds, It does get chilly in the winter here, so warm materials are a plus. Not a picky eater, she eats a mix of any ferrets foods, and really likes her N-bones.
