Lucy is the sweetest little plump ball of fluff! Nicknamed hedgehog, she waddles herself around the room in play. The short gray hairs of fur stick out on her plump little body making her look a little hedgie. She came in with 2 other boys that she had been recently caged with. The boys had been together for a couple years, and she was added later to their group. The boys were really rough and tumble with her, making her cry out and run and hide from them at every opportunity. We tried putting her in with a couple of little girl ferrets and she seems much happier not being beaten up by the much rougher boys.
She loves soupies, and nibbles on hard kibble and N-bones. She may or may not really eat the N-bones but she loves grabbing them and stashing them in her little hidey holes around the room. One interesting thing with Lucy is that she loves to lick and be licked in the face by the other ferrets. All the other ferrets in the room will come up to Lucy and clean her face, licking all over her face and even lick tongues with her. This happens all the time with all the ferrets and Lucy, but oddly enough none of the other ferrets seem to clean or lick each other, it is just a special Lucy thing.
