Moose

Moose Meet Mister Moose........I admit it I should not have favorites, but with Moose I can't help it. He is absolutely one of the greatest ferrets I have been lucky enough to spend time with. He and his 2 siblings, Slinky and Sassafras all came in to the shelter last year, they belonged to a family that no longer had nor wanted to make the time for them , and their loss has been our gain!
This cutie is around 4 years old and has the most adorable little beauty mark on the side of his nose! He is mostly white with a some gray hairs and a ever so slight blaze on his head. All 3 are very active, energetic and playful, they love escaping from the cage and running wild around the room.
Originally eating Wal-Mart ferret food, they are all in fairly good shape and eating well here of any and a foods that they are offered. He does really like his crinkle sacks, crochet balls that make noise or simply a plastic shopping bag to bounce and play in, the noise really seems to get him going. He along with the others I have found are apparently totally and completely addicted to N-bones, and this boy is doing his best to eat as many N-bones as he can get a-hold of. I do have to watch to make sure Mister Moose gets is n-bones though as his sister will come along and she is quite good at taking them away from him. He puts up a bit of a fight and complains mightily and loudly but his sis just does not seem to care, she will squeal right back at him and run off before he can catch her. Since she is smaller and faster she generally gets them from him, though he does not run into a corner and tries to quietly eat as much as he can before she finds him..
