Hi everyone, I’m Pepper. I came to the sanctuary a little over a year ago with my sister, Mushroom. I’m now 6, but Mushroom was 9 when we came to the sanctuary. Mushroom went undiagnosed with Insulinoma for a really long time. As soon as we came to the sanctuary, Mushroom was diagnosed and started medication for it. Unfortunately, Mushroom recently went to the Rainbow Bridge. I’ve been having a hard time with it, but I’m starting to come back around. Lots of snuggles sometimes helps. I love it when Mumma makes us soupies because it reminds me of my sister. We used to gobble up soupies together. She needed to eat, and she also needed my support.
These days, there are a few other ferrets who need my support and my snuggles. I’m really good at dealing out the snuggles. I’ve become good friends with an older boy named Pippin. We are almost always together. As for me, I really like Mumma’s special kibble blend soupies, and big soft beds that I can snuggle in with my buddy, Pippin.
