Hi guys, I’m Storm. I’m a rather new resident at the sanctuary. I came here with my sister, Rain and my two brothers, Blizzard and River. I have made so many new friends here, and they really get me! They pounce and dook just like me! I’m the youngest of the 4 of us who came to the sanctuary, and I’m still very playful! My new Mumma caught me attempting to jump from the bed onto a shelf that’s definitely out of my reach….. but I really thought I could get there. Hmm….. I’ll find a way…..
As for me, I’m really enjoying the special kibble blend that my new Mumma has. AND it has the kibble that I was used to in it!!! Lots of new flavors, and I’m loving it! I’m definitely still getting used to drinking out of a bowl instead of a water bottle. It’s a lot of fun to snorkel in the water bowl! My new Mumma is getting used to putting down towels near the water bowl because I make a rather large mess when I ‘drink.’ I also really like the really soft fuzzy blankets that Mumma puts down for my to tunnel in! Our current residents come from all over New England. Some came to us sick and old, and others healthy in large groups. We make sure to never separate bonded groups who come in so no one looses who they love. We go through supplies rapidly with the number of noodles in our care, and finances are always tight. There are about 20 ferrets here that this very well might be their last Christmas, so we make sure everyone gets to play with and enjoy the gifts that are received!
