Hai, Santys! I's MaryJane, an' my foster mama sez I's da bestest, sweetest,
an' prettiest baby, so it must be true, right? Anyway, I'm a little bit shy, too. I've been in my Five Points Ferret Refuge foster home for a few months, but I only just made a friend here. My new bestest friend is Chips. I think that's his name. Mama calls him all kindsa things, so maybe not. She's confused and keeps tellin' us we're the best puppies ever. I think she drinks. Chippy is almost seven and he's blind. He has that rotten insulinoma and takes icky medicine, too. He's all right, though, cuz he knows all the great spots for snoozin'. The doctor says I's mostly healthy an' my blood looks good, but I's gonna have surgery for some weird spots on my skin. My pretty fur is getting thin, so I's gonna need that mean ol' harpoon, too. Life ain' easy for us ferrets, but the nice hoomans at Five Points is tryin' to help us all they can. Chipsy an' me both love salmon oil, S&C's Freeze Dried Raw Duck Duck Goose, and Tummy Ticklin' Turkey. Mama uses that to make yummy soupies and we's both great at cleanin' our bowls. I know the surgery not kan't be cheap, so iffen maybe you can send some pennies for that it'll help both Mama Brenda and our foster mama sleep a little better. Santys, Chipstafer (I said he had a buncha names, right?) an me both loves the real soft blankies, an' the stiff tunnels. Da soft ones fall apart too fast. Ifen you don't pick us, maybe just send up a prayer or two for us. I's really nervous about getting cut, even if it is by a doctor. Thanks, Santys, and have a very merry Kissymas!
