I’m Mabel, a brave little 2-year-old girl with a heart full of determination. My story started out rough—I was found as a stray and taken to the shelter, where things got serious fast. My shelter mom noticed right away something wasn’t right with me. I felt horrible and couldn’t keep any food down. Not too long after I arrived, I was rushed to the emergency clinic where I had surgery for a life-threatening blockage. Thanks to the quick action and loving care of the shelter team, I’m now on the road to recovery. Even after everything I’ve been through, my playful personality and sweet nature still shines. This Christmas, I’m hoping for some new tunnels or Stella & Chewy’s Freeze Dried Raw so my shelter mom can make more soup. I love being able to eat again.
