Hi guys, I’m Momo. I came to the sanctuary a while ago with my sister, Maizee. I had a tragic accident at my old home. We weren’t in a very safe environment. My new Mumma and the vet worked very hard to save my life, and I’m so glad they did. It took quite a long time, but I am so happy to be here today. Mumma says that I’m her special little lady.
A little bit about me…. I really like food. Like, a lot. At my old home, my sister and I didn’t get much food, and what we did get was making us both sick. My new Mumma has a bunch of different delicious foods mixed together, so we get to have a bunch of different flavors that are all good for us, and MUCH healthier than the food we were eating before. Mumma also calls me special for another reason though…. I’m a bit of a princess when it comes to my feet. After all of the time I spent at the vet with Mumma, we ended up going back to the vet for some X-rays to check on my feet and ankles. Mumma thought there was something wrong with them because every time she would touch my feet I would pull them away from her. She thought we missed something with the accident I had. After a short time, Mumma realized that I didn’t like my feet wet, dirty, touched, and I hated my nails clipped. Mumma realized that I was a princess when it came to my feet. She also realized that I wouldn’t go potty on dirty or wet potty pads, and that I would find another place to go. So needless to say, another one of my favorite things are clean potty pads. Jefferson and I will play and dook on them when Mumma puts them down for us. They’re amazing! Mumma uses SO many potty pads for us… sometimes I feel bad for making her use more, but she knows I’m her special little lady/princess.
I really hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year! Much Love, Momo <3
We are a self funded private rescue/sanctuary in New Hampshire. Our current residents come from all over New England. Some came to us sick and old, and others healthy in large groups. We make sure to never separate bonded groups who come in so no one looses who they love.
We go through supplies rapidly with the number of noodles in our care, and finances are always tight. Thank you so much for anything and everything, we couldn’t keep this going without the love and support we get during this time of year from the ferret community. There are about 20 ferrets here that this very well might be their last Christmas, so we make sure everyone gets to play with and enjoy the gifts that are received!
