Hi Santa, My name is Baby. I was given my name by a very nice lady who helped rescue me. I used to live in a very scary place! I was left behind in a home after the people that lived there were kicked out. While it was also scary to be left behind, the people I lived with were even more scary. Because I have had such a scary start in life, I bite everyone who tried to be my friend, and I bite hard! I want to show them I can be scary too so they will leave me alone! So please know I look a little funny in this photo, this is my intake photo and shelter mom had to scruff me so I would not bite her. Let me tell you, though, since coming to WVFS shelter mom says I don't need to be scared any more. She gave me a clean room and lots of food and soup to help me get back to be healthy again. I tried to bite her every time she tries to come in my room, but then I started to realize she might be right. She talks to me gently, still feeds me and cleans my room even though I was mean to her! She even found me a foster home so I could get MORE loving attention! I had no idea such a world existed! Foster mom says I am warming up to her very nicely, but I am still a little scared of foster Dad. Shelter mom and foster mom thinks with lots of treats I will be won over. I mean there are other ferrets here and they all seem to like the guy. Santa, I have really enjoyed this treat I have never tried before until coming here, they call it Emu oil. Shelter mom says we use Vivify from Totally Ferret as well as pure Emu Oil from Montana Emu Ranch. It would be great if we had some more to help me get over my anxiousness.
