Hi Everyone I am Zippy..I am around 5 years old and I am very very new here ( Just surrendered) and so far I think I like it! That mama lady gives me warm liquidy goodness she calls soupies.. I really enjoy them. I am adrenal and she says I will be going very soon for my Harpooning ( Implant).. I don’t know what that is.. but sounds scary to me! So far I enjoy stealing little stuffies and putting them in the den with me ( I really like the den too!) I love zipping through the tunnel and hiding under the blankets and chasing the stinky cat when it comes near! ( Don’t worry, mama is always watching ) I will be extremely happy and thankful for anything my Santa sends me! I just hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas!
SHELTER NEEDS We are a self funded private rescue in Pennsylvania. We take in all ferrets, whether they are healthy or sick, young or old. We also take in large bonded groups so that no one has to be separated from their best buddies. We have been taking ferrets in since 2013. We are currently at 101 ferrets. There are very many in the shelter with adrenal disease, and the majority of our babies are over 6 years old. We go through supplies like crazy with this many babies, and vetting keeps our funds tight. For many of these ferrets it may be their last Christmas! We do make sure everyone gets to partake in the gifts! ( I have a HUGE stocking made specially for them, out of ferret material with presents on it, and embroidered with Ferrets) We are always in need of the following supplies • Food – Marhsalls Premium Ferret Diet, Mazuri Ferret diet, Intune, Dr. Elsey’s Clean Protein ( Chicken, Rabbit & Turkey), Totally Ferret (Active and show & Turkey – Venison – Lamb), Oxbow Ferret food • Puppy Pads ( multiple sizes.. we go through about 60 a day) • Paper Towel • Wet wipes ( Sensitive) • White Vinegar – for sanitizing and cleaning • Duck Fat • Salmon Oil • Stella & Chewys Freeze Dried Raw ( Duck, Turkey, Chicken and Rabbit) • Beechnut Baby Food ( Chicken, Turkey, and Banana) or Gerber • Uncle Jim’s Duk Soup • Blankets • Beds • Stash toys • Shaky Eggs • Instinct Raw Boost Mixers ( Chicken) • Insta-glucose • Nupro • Nature’s Miracle Cleaner or Odoban • Litter Boxes ( Indoor Dog litter pans, not Marshall’s high back) • 20 oz Lock on Crocks ( Need about 10 of them for all the cages) • Heavy Ceramic Bowls We appreciate anything sent to the furbabies whether it is on our list or not!
