Tyler

Tyler Tyler came to our hospice, back in 2022. He originally came with his brother Eddie. Eddie has since passed away, he came due to a medical condition causing him to be unable to use his front legs. He ended up getting a blood clot in his spine, leading to a stroke. Tyler was left behind sadly. He moved in with our other group of ferrets to help ease that pain of losing his brother. Tyler was a bit of a nipper when he first came. Now as he ages he is even more grumpy but you can sneak in a kiss here and there. He was already a elder ferret when he came to us, so now as 2 years have passed, he is now at the age of 7 and he is still hanging in there strong. He is slowing down, but he still carries around crochet eggies, and he still chases down toes and feet. He will have a walker and still be going after toes and feet. I promised he will be burried " 6 feet under" thats right, 6 feet stacked right on top of each other for his feet fetish for after life. He is a sasafraspants but still demands respect and your snacks as you eat them. He eats totally ferret turkey, venison, lamb kibble. and Marshalls premium ferret food. He also does eat soupie
with stella and chewy either the duck, chicken or rabbit.
They also use, X-Large puppy pads, crumble paper news litter, cleaning supplies. Our kids all love rubber duckies, and crochet eggies, and Kong toys. We also can always use "Rainbow bridge blankets". These are small baby receiving blankets that we use for wrapping them in when we take them in to be helped to the bridge, or if they pass at the hospice, we will wrap their bodies in these rainbow bridge blankets to escort their remains to the vet, and once the blanket leaves our hands it gets passed on to the vet office to use on other patients who need that little extra love during the healing process. The blankets will continue to live on to care for many various animals.

**At this time due to the nature of our rescue, we can not accept used items. Most of the ferrets in our care are ill, or have sicknesses or on medication that lower their immune system leaving them susceptible to many things.**
