Yogi...Yogi...Yogi... What can I say about Yogi...Where do I even begin? Yogi, is a sweetheart, that is also quick to change his mind.. I also am not completely confident he even knows what he's doing. Yogi came to us with a broken back femur. It had healed, making him unable to control his bowels, and unable to walk very well with his hind legs. He does not need a wheel chair at this point, and there is nothing to do at this time with the leg, as it is not effecting his quality of life.. I have the bite mark scars to prove it. He is a foot biter, ankle clamper, and is apart of the masked ferret operations which is finding other ferrets treat stashes as they sleep and eating them all. Yogi can always use fluffy warm blankets, or flat beds that are easy to get in and out of, as well as TONS OF PUPPY PADS!!! We probably go through about 20 puppy pads a day with his bowel issues. He can also use steel oats for his bathes, and soap bags to hold the oats. Can also use baby wipes as he gets wipes frequently as well. He eats totally ferret turkey, venison, lamb kibble. and Marshalls premium ferret food. He also does eat soupie
with stella and chewy either the duck, chicken or rabbit.
They also use, X-Large puppy pads, crumble paper news litter, cleaning supplies. Our kids all love rubber duckies, and crochet eggies, and Kong toys. We also can always use "Rainbow bridge blankets". These are small baby receiving blankets that we use for wrapping them in when we take them in to be helped to the bridge, or if they pass at the hospice, we will wrap their bodies in these rainbow bridge blankets to escort their remains to the vet, and once the blanket leaves our hands it gets passed on to the vet office to use on other patients who need that little extra love during the healing process. The blankets will continue to live on to care for many various animals.
**At this time due to the nature of our rescue, we can not accept used items. Most of the ferrets in our care are ill, or have sicknesses or on medication that lower their immune system leaving them susceptible to many things.**
